Students shuffled around, grabbing their books, chatting and getting reading to walk out of the class as the last seconds of Psych class ticked down. "And don't forget to read chapter 10 tonight, we'll be talking about the human psyche--" Professor Walsh said, getting cut off by the loud shrill of the bell.
Willow stood up, grabbing her books and putting her tiny purse over her shoulder. "So, has Riley been following you around still?" she questioned the blond Slayer.
Buffy looked at her, an annoyed look on her face at even the mention of his name. "Like a lost puppy dog! I tell him I have to study, he offers to come to my room to help me.. he's even taking over my job! I can't even slay alone!" She looked up, seeing Riley finishing putting his papers in his folders and brushing one of those long strands of hair out of his face. He looked her straight in the eyes as he looked up.
"Oh God!" Willow shrieked and pushed Buffy gently. "Go! He's coming!" Buffy sped up, looking more like a speed walker than a student at the moment. Riley almost caught up with her, but she and Willow were already half way down the hall as he neared the door.
"Is there something wrong with me?" he questioned himself. Professor Walsh walked behind him and whispered over his shoulder, "I think you're trying too much" she said as she packed away some folders in her briefcase. Riley stared at the hall until Buffy was out of sight.

"Junk, Junk, Junk.." Buffy said, sorting out her mail, "Xander's..", putting that in her "To read" pile. "Junk, Junk... Oooo!" she said as she immediately tore open the letter.
"Who's it from?" Willow asked as she folded some clothes she had in her laundry basket.
Buffy smiled like a junior-high girl in love. "Angel.." she said as she opened up the letter, the scent of vanilla sprayed on it. She sniffed it, enjoying the smell and then read it to herself.
"Hate to bring this up, but have you told Angel about Riley?" Willow said as she moved to her drawer, putting in the folded clothes and looked back to see Buffy still reading the letter. Willow sighed, but smiled. "Buffy?"
"Yes?" she said as she looked up from the letter. Willow looked at her, prodding her to answer the question. "Oh.. telling Angel 'bout Riley. I did." She motioned to the letter. "He's not taking it too well.."
"Not taking it too well as..?" Willow questioned her. Buffy shrugged. "You know Angel, probably brooding it away," she said and smiled slightly. How *was* Angel taking it? she thought.

Riley looked around the area. Ski mask pulled down to his forehead, one of the Initiative's high powered guns in hand with his bullet proof vest on, a dark green t-shirt and his camo pants with the combat boots. Forrest had told him he wasn't feeling so well and Riley let him off duty. He was probably making crazy naked sex with some girl probably, but Riley needed time to think. What was he going to do about Buffy? How could he even get close to her without her running away? How could he.. SNAP!
Riley's head shot up at the sound of the twig snap, looking around him frantically. He held out his gun a bit as he pulled down his ski mask. He couldn't see anyone, even with his night vision goggles on over his eyes.
"Riley? Riley Finn?" a voice called from behind him. Riley turned around quickly, positioning his gun to where he heard the voice. "Are you him?" the voice called out, this time in a different area. He turned around, taking off his mask.
"Yeah, I'm him. Show yourself or you'll give me a reason to shoot you," he called out.
The person laughed, coming out of the shadows, the yellow eyes reflecting against the moon's light with a predatory grin on his face. "No, I think you got that wrong. Maybe I'll shoot you.." Even before Riley got a chance to pull the trigger the vampire knocked it out of his hands. "I'm Angel. Nice to meet you!" he said, as he punched Riley hard enough to render him unconscious. "That was too damn easy.."

The mansion. The one place Angel hadn't visited in a long time. Still cold, still abandoned and the same way he had left it. Even the table which Buffy had broken when he had fed from her on Graduation day was still there, the pieces thrown in the fire place for firewood. And yes, even the chains on the wall were still there. He knew he'd need them some other time..
The cold steel clamped around Riley's wrists which startled him a bit into consciousness. His eye focus wasn't all that clear and it was pretty dark in the room. He shivered at the coldness. A figure dressed in black moved about the room, bringing out a blue folder type thing with various silver thing in it. His eye sight adjusted as Angel bent down in front of him, wearing his human face now.
"How ya holding up?" he asked, picking up Riley's chin to look into the focused eyes. "Can't start if you can't feel anything.. Can you feel this?" Angel got up, kicking him quickly and hard in between his legs. Riley screamed, speechless and his eyes rolled in to the back of his head. He tried to put his hands down there but realized his wrists were in chains. "Good.. didn't want to break you already."
Riley gulped, throwing back his head to get his hair out of the way. "W-what do you want from me?"
Angel came back, a small dagger in his hand. "What I want from you? I want my Buffy back."
"Buffy? You-you know her?" he asked, leaning back against the wall afraid as the knife got closer. "Why are you doing this.. I would-- no wait. I wouldn't give Buffy away to you.. You'd hurt her.. with that knife.. that is getting ever so close to my body.." He was eyeing the sharp point of the knife. Only Angel's gaze on it was more happy.
"I would never hurt her. You on the other hand.. Do I have to ask for your permission to do this? It's been a while, I don't really remember the etiquette of torture.." Angel said, running his finger over the knife gently so as not to cut himself.
"I don't think you have to ask but--"
"Oh wait! No I don't.. stupid of me.. no wait, stupid of you to even answer that. So what's you're name?"
"My name? But you already--" Riley said.
"Say it!" Angel growled, putting the knife closer.
"Riley. Riley Finn," he said, wincing as the blade touched his skin.
"Wrong.." Angel said as he pushed the blade into his skin, and Riley screamed like a sissy girl in pain as he pushed in deeper. Angel kept the knife still, not even pulling it out. "What's you're name?"
Riley, being as stupid as he was, finally caught on. "Fish Boy?" he breathed out. When he was young he didn't even know why kids called him that. His mom was too sad that her li'l boy was getting called names that she never told him what it meant until just a few weeks ago when Xander had the honors to do it. After, of course, he called Riley that. The knife stayed where it was. He looked down in pain, tears coming from his eyes.
"Getting a bit too many centuries old, what did you say?" Angel asked, then twisted the knife a bit. Riley's mouth shot open but he was in so much pain the words weren't coming out. Angel twisted more and Riley blurted out "FISH BOY!" Angel smiled as he twisted and pulled the knife out sharply. Blood poured out the boy's wound and Angel tried to control himself not to drink it.. just yet.
Before putting the knife on the ground beside him, he licked up the blood from it. His face shifting into his vampire visage. He wrinkled his nose at the taste of the blood. Wasn't exactly the best he'd tasted.. ever.. in his 244 years of living as a vampire. He shook his head, shifting back to human face.
Riley was in extreme pain as he whimpered when he saw Angel transform back to his human face. Angel stared at him with his deep brown eyes. Only staring at him made Riley burst out into tears. Now who gets awarded with the new nicknames 'poof' and 'Nancy Boy' by Spike? Angel thought. The blood from the veins dripped down Riley's chest to where his pants were.
Angel walked over to the table, grabbing a very small bottle of something. He shook it, letting Riley hear there was some liquid in it. He knelt back down in front of Riley. "You okay?" sounding somewhat sympathetical.
Riley nodded, he wasn't going to show that he was a wuss, although inside he felt like an incredibly big one. Angel opened the top of the bottle and wripped a small piece of Riley's shirt off and poured the substance on it. It sizzled on contact.
"Acid. Hurts like hell on cuts.. Wanna see?" Angel asked him tipping the bottle a bit but nothing coming out. Riley shook his head no violently but quickly Angel tipped the bottle over, hitting the cuts directly and Angel could hear it burn and Riley yelled long and hard. Angel smiled wickedly at Riley's yell and Riley's eyes were blood shot when he looked up to him, the acid still sizzling the cut. Boredly, Angel got up.
Physical torture wasn't as fun as he had thought it would be with Riley, or should I say, Fish Boy. What was this boy, a TA for a psychology professor? Angel thought. After a long moment of silence, well what would have been silence if Riley wasn't whimpering, crying and flinching in pain, Angel asked a question out of the blue. Or maybe red, it was getting a bit bloody smelling in there.
"Why do you like Buffy?" he asked, turning around his arms crossed against his chest.
"Because.. she's nice, and she's caring and she's beautiful.." Riley choked out.
"Good in bed?"
"What?! How would I know. I never slept with her," Riley said, appalled. "My father never said to sleep with girls until you've really truly known them. Then of course, after that, you got the top story of the hayshac on the farm all to yourself.." Farm, farm, farm.. that's all he talked about. Good thing he didn't start to ramble on about whatever he had, cow milking awards, fastest person to find the needle in the haystack.
Angel smiled. "Good, just wanted to see if you had slept with her yet."
"Have you?" Riley asked as he flinched in pain, wiping a bit of his blood away with his still chained hands.
"Of course! Ooo.. she's great.. Her smell, her taste, and once you're inside of her.. it's heaven.." Angel said, looking at Riley. Riley's mouth was wide open.
"You-you.. had sex with her?"
"No shit Sherlock! What do you think I just said.."
"I can't believe she would do that.." Riley said lightly. Angel turned around, his vampire face on as he grabbed Riley's hair and pulled him up violently. "Do what?" he snarled. Riley was too damn scared even to respond. He was trained as a demon hunter for the Initiative and he couldn't even say a word infront of a vampire. Well, of course, he was chained up, bleeding a whole lot and well.. would thinking about becoming a homosexual be an appropriate thought at the moment? Riley was starting to think Angel *was* incredibly hot..
"I just never thought Buffy would do that. She seems like a good girl to me," Riley said.
"Oh, she is good.. Good thing you'll never ever find out. Not that she'd let you.." Angel said, letting out a predatory growl as he yank Riley head to expose his neck and sunk his teeth into his flesh, gulping down his blood. After he had completely drained him as much as he could he let him drop to the ground the chains rattling as his limp body hung over them in an awkward position.
Angel grinned, looking at the dead boy. He walked to his bed room, picking up the phone and dialed the number for Buffy's dorm room. As if it were meant to be, Buffy picked up the phone with a perky "Hello?"
"Buffy.." he said, happy to hear her voice.
"Angel?" she said on the other end as her perkiness in her voice faded. "Oh my god.." She was crying on the other end, Angel could hear.
"Buffy.. Buffy.. don't cry," he said to her, soothing her with his low voice.
"You won't believe, or maybe you will, what happened.."

A couple of days later, while Willow was watching an occult show on the televsion and Buffy laying on her bed, reading a psychology book for the exam in a few days, the familar sound of a newsbrief came on. One of the most popular anchors came on.
"Today, the body of a young man was found in the Crawford Mansion on Crawford Street located in the outside area downtown Sunnydale. Investigators have looked up the history on the mansion and no one has lived there for more than 50 years and has been completely abandoned since then. Police say the body of a senior student at UC Sunnydale was found there late last night when a mysterious phone call was called in. Police could not trace the call and are still looking for any suspects. The boy who coroners have claimed to be Riley Finn, have said that he was stabbed and two strange marks were found by his neck. Police are still skeptical about the death but they are saying it was most likely a sacrificial ritual for an unknown cult at the time. More informatin on this mysterious death will follow as soon as more information has been found."
There was a long moment of silence following the news report. Buffy tried to hard to hold it back. She was grinning was huge and she just had to let it out. She couldn't help but let out a big burst of laughter.
